Droombos Estate offers 16 distinctive venues accommodating anywhere from 2 to 500 delegates. Our largest venue, The Black Barn, can host up to 400 people in cocktail style or 240 in banqueting style, with 750m² of multifunctional space. For smaller groups, we have boardrooms, breakaway pods, and intimate meeting spaces. We can also configure multiple venues simultaneously for complex multi-session conferences.
All venues include integrated AV: high-speed Wi-Fi, professional sound systems, wireless microphones, projection screens, LED displays, video conferencing, live streaming, on-site tech support, and backup power. We partner with AV specialists for advanced needs like simultaneous translation or professional recording.
Yes, on-site accommodation is one of our key advantages. Delegates can stay in our Droombos Suites, The Farmhouse, or The Vineyard, eliminating travel time and creating a truly immersive retreat experience. This integrated approach means your team can transition seamlessly from conference sessions to dining, networking, and team-building activities without leaving the estate. We offer special corporate rates for multi-day bookings and can accommodate groups of varying sizes.
Our farm-to-fork culinary team provides full conference catering including tea breaks with pastries, working lunches (buffet or plated), networking dinners, cocktail receptions, and breakfast for overnight guests. All menus accommodate dietary requirements and feature fresh, seasonal ingredients from our gardens.
We understand that corporate plans can change. Our standard policy is:
60+ days before event: Full refund or date change with no penalty
30-60 days before event: 50% cancellation fee or free date change
Less than 30 days: 100% cancellation fee, but credit can be applied to future bookings within 12 months
Delegate number adjustments: Final numbers can be confirmed up to 7 days before the event without penalty
Force majeure provisions apply. We work with clients to find solutions when unexpected circumstance arise.
Absolutely. We highly encourage site visits so you can experience Droombos Estate firsthand and ensure it meets your needs. Our corporate team can arrange a personalized tour where you’ll see the venues, meet the coordination staff, sample menu options, and review technical capabilities. Site visits can be scheduled Monday-Friday between 9:00-16:00. We can also arrange virtual tours via video call for international clients or those unable to visit in person.
